A Canada-based Nigerian doctor, has advised comedian Carter Efe to delete the viral video in which he appealed to Seyi Tinubu to help secure approval for his U.S. visa.
Reacting to the clip, he said he wasn’t calling Carter Efe out to embarrass him but to prevent others from making the same mistake.
According to him, U.S. immigration authorities now pay closer attention to applicants’ social media activities, warning that the video could be interpreted as a sign that Carter Efe is desperate to leave Nigeria and may not intend to return.
He also stated that Seyi Tinubu has no influence over visa officers at the U.S. Embassy, stressing that immigration decisions are made independently.
Despite his concerns, he described Carter Efe as a hardworking and good-hearted person, expressing hope that everything works out in his favour while urging him to delete the video as soon as possible.
