Police have arrested three people, including two doctors, over alleged organ harvesting and human trafficking in Nasarawa State.

The suspects were arrested on August 19, 2026, in Auta Balefi, Karu LGA.
They are Emmanuel Ode, 23, and two kidney specialists, Dr. Benjamin Oyime and Dr. Daniel Otokpa, who are reportedly linked to Wellington Hospital.
Police say Emmanuel Ode allegedly helped arrange for a 22-year-old man, Samuel Ezekiel, to have one of his kidneys removed for ₦1.7 million. Samuel was also allegedly made to sign consent papers using a different name, “Isa Abubakar.”
