Harrison Gwamnishu shares new video of woman tied and flogged by her kinsmen over claims she is a witch
WHO REMEMBERED THIS WIDOW?
The moment I heard about her ordeal, I left Asaba for Umuahia, brought her back to Asaba, Delta State, and sought support until she was provided with a safe shelter where she could begin to rebuild her life.
In 2024, life became difficult for me. I had to call many of the people I had helped over the years and told them I could no longer carry everyone’s burden. I encouraged them to keep pushing and help themselves. Sadly, not one of them has checked on me or even asked how I was doing.
But this morning, I woke up to a video of Mrs. Amarachi praying sincerely for me. She has been the only one checking and praying.
Watching that video melted my heart.
Even after I could no longer be there for her the way I once was, she still remembered me in her prayers. That simple act reminded me that genuine gratitude still exists.
You may never receive appreciation from everyone you help. Some people will forget your sacrifices the moment they overcome their challenges. But every now and then, someone will remind you that your kindness truly made a difference.
Never stop doing good. Your reward may not always come from the people you helped, but goodness is never wasted.
