President Trump on Thursday said the vandals accused of damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool were caught.
Trump said the alleged vandals used a box cutter or a sharp object to slash the bottom and “threw fertilizer in the water.” “Fertilizer doesn’t go well with water,” the president added while speaking during a dinner with farmers in the Rose Garden.
